Dermology Aesthetic Laser & Skin Care Breaks New Ground

Sophisticated aesthetic and laser treatments can completely revolutionise how you deal with every woman’s beauty challenges – from aging skin and wrinkles to cellulite, varicose veins and acne or scarring – but make sure that you are, quite literally, in the right hands.

That’s the message from aesthetic specialist, Cherie Fraser, aesthetic physician, Dr Yaniv Lacob, and specialist dermatologist, Dr Lushen Pillay, who recently established the Dermology Aesthetic Laser & Skin Care Clinic in Sandton, Johannesburg. Patients are consulted with and an individualized treatment plan is set up / planned?!

Highly qualified and internationally recognised, the team offers a wide range of ground breaking invasive and non-invasive anti-aging and skin treatments that include chemical peels (from mild to deep peels), vein treatments on both the face and legs, treatment of flushing or facial redness, Botox and tightening of the skin on the face and neck.

Equipped with the very best aesthetic lasers used internationally to ensure patients achieve desired results, they also offer some of the latest laser treatments. “When deciding to go for laser treatment of any kind, make sure you know about the quality of the laser being used and the experience of the technician who will perform the procedure as this will play a huge role in the final results,” Fraser advises.

She says that the benefits of laser treatment include fast treatment – the average treatment time is 12 to 15 minutes for a full face – long lasting results, none of the painful after effects of surgery and zero downtime which means patients can resume normal activities immediately. It is effective on the face, neck, chest, arms, and hands.

She says that exciting new laser treatments available at Dermology utilise the Sciton JOULE which draws on infrared energy to heat the skin’s soft tissue, causing soft tissue coagulation and collagen contraction. This causes the skin to tighten and not only stimulates the body’s own natural healing process but also initiates growth of new skin cells.
